PM Marković at UN: Montenegro has created institutional mechanism to provide effective response to problem of chronic non-communicable diseases New York, the USA (27 September 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković said today at the United Nations that chronic non-communicable diseases (NCD) cause globally almost 80% of the population's mortality and that this trend is rising, and that the Government of Montenegro has adopted a number of strategic documents dealing with this issue with the aim of solving this problem. Montenegro has created an institutional mechanism to confirm the determination to provide an effective response to the problem of chronic non-communicable diseases.
