Podgorica, Montenegro (3 April 2020) -- The state has both strength and potential, financial and institutional, to provide every citizen and his family with protection and safety, highlights the congratulatory letter of Prime Minister Duško Markovć addressed to local leadership, the municipal parliament members and citizens of Ulcinj, on the occasion of Municipality Day, which is celebrated on 6 April.

"Although you are welcoming this year's municipal holiday in an atmosphere of concern about the coronavirus epidemic, I would like to take this opportunity to send you a message of encouragement and emphasise that the health system and overall capacities of Montenegro are fully prepared to tackle adequately the health challenges that we are facing these days. The state has the strength and potential, financial and institutional, to provide every citizen and his family with protection and safety," the Prime Minister's congratulatory letter underlines.

He recalled that the Government had adopted several measures, aimed at facilitating the lives of citizens, assisting the economy in the time of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as working on a plan of additional and even stronger assistance to the economy, entrepreneurs and citizens, and concluded by saying:

"Take care of yourself and protect others from yourself - for the days ahead and the overall potential of our Montenegro."
