Podgorica, Montenegro (21 February 2020) -- Regarding a proactive approach to the European integration, many significant issues were opened at today's meetings between Prime Minister Duško Marković and representatives of the Centre for Monitoring and Research (CEMI) and the Centre for Development of NGOs (CRNVO).

The meetings within Alliance for Europe, led by the Prime Minister, suggested activities aimed at accelerating progress of Montenegro's EU bid, better results in the rule of law, independence and transparency of institutions, but also the European integration processes itself and strengthening mutual trust.

During the discussions with representatives of the CEMI, headed by President of the Governing Board of that organisation Zlatko Vujović, particular attention was paid to the proposals for a proactive approach in finding solutions, significant for strengthening confidence in the electoral process.

In addition to the topics mentioned, issues important for strengthening trust between the Government and the civil sector, were also discussed with Executive Director of CRNVO Ana Novaković and her colleagues.
