Podgorica, Montenegro (19 February 2020) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković talked earlier today with Executive Director at Center for Democratic Transition (CDT) Dragan Koprivica, within a dialogue and "Alliance for Europe" initiative, which is aimed at reaching a consensus on issues significant for overcoming divisions and dynamic path towards the European Union.

The Prime Minister and representatives of the Government, in a quite constructive, high – quality and meaningful discussion, received a number of proposals and initiatives, in order to boost the credibility of institutions, public confidence in their work and strengthen the electoral system.

We recall that the Government has initiated a broad dialogue with relevant social actors, aimed at advancement of the integration process as a key goal of state policy, the completion of the process of comprehensive reforms and the overall progress of society.

The Government will consider responsibly and carefully all of the CDT suggestions given at today's meeting and in relation to them, will determine during or at the end of the whole process.

Deputy Prime Minister for Political System, Interior and Foreign Policy Zoran Pažin, Minister of Public Administration Suzana Pribilović and EU Chief Negotiator Aleksandar Drljević, also attended the meeting.
