At the end of his visit to Bijelo Polje on the occasion of the Municipality Day, Prime Minister Duško Marković stated that this was a good opportunity to review everything that was done in 2017 but also to agree on how to resume the implementation of started projects in 2018 and create preconditions for new ones.

In 2017 we made, I would say, serious results, created a good basis for the Montenegrin economy to grow in 2018, in this way creating opportunities for our citizens, to open new jobs, especially in the north. The north is a region in Montenegro that provides great opportunities for Montenegro and its economy, for the citizens of the north of course, and therefore I am very often in the north and because of that, whenever I come to the north, and in the Municipality of Bijelo Polje, I want to talk about projects: those projects we implement and those we want to implement, the Prime Minister said.

Today in Negnjevo we attended the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of a new bridge that should connect two coasts of Lim, two large places with a huge number of citizens, in order to facilitate their lives, to improve the infrastructure for the pupils in that area. You saw that in Ravna Rijeka I attended the completion of the construction of a bridge over the Ljuboviđe river that will connect the main road with the future ski center in Smiljača and I put into operation a new small hydropower plant which is one of the projects that should contribute to the energy stability of Montenegro and, of course, its overall development. So, we have done a lot in Bijelo Polje in 2017, but we continue to work in 2018, the Prime Minister concluded.
