PM Marković opens reconstructed city square in Bijelo Polje

Prime Minister Duško Marković and President of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje Aleksandar Žurić opened the reconstructed city square on the occasion of the Municipality Day. More than EUR 900,000 has been invested in the reconstruction so far.

The phases I, II and IV have been completed, worth EUR 910,000, of which EUR 480,000 were donated by the company Adriatic Properties Budva, while the Municipality of Bijelo Polje allocated EUR 200,000.

The works were carried out by the company Unipred from Bijelo Polje.

The works on the third phase of the city square reconstruction were negotiated – from Tomaš Žižić Street to the shopping centre Forum. The value of the works is EUR 230,000, the contractor is company Unipred, and the investor is the Directorate of Public Works of Montenegro and the Municipality of Bijelo Polje.

Prime Minister Marković is attending the ceremonial session of the Municipal Assembly, after which he will mark the beginning of the works of the bridge Sutivan - Njegnjevo, open the bridge on the Ljuboviđa river and a small hydropower plant on the Bistrica river in Majstorovina.
